Transfer Rumours: Red and Gold brigade could reunite with former captain!

The East Bengal FC team management are certainly on a roll in the transfer market. They have roped in the likes of Balwant Singh and Gurtej Singh and are also in talks with few more senior players from the ISL. As per sources, the team management has also offered former captain Sanju Pradhan to join the Red and Gold brigade for the upcoming season.

The 30 year old Sikkimese played for Punjab FC in 2019/20 I-League campaign and recorded 5 assists and 1 goal in 16 appearances. He was one of the best Indian performers in the I-League and recorded the most number of assists by an Indian.

Sanju Pradhan joined East Bengal from Air India back in 2008 as a teenager and played for 5 seasons at a stretch, leading the side in 2012/13 to the Federation Cup triumph. Sanju also joined the Red and Gold brigade on loan in the 2015/16 season making 9 appearances for the club.

The Sikkimese himself confirmed that he has offers from East Bengal FC and if things go smoothly, the fans can see him once more donning the Red and Gold kit for the upcoming season.
