Quess East Bengal FC have not started the I-League campaign as the fans would have liked it to be. With just 8 points from 5 matches, the team surely looks it needs some restructuring!

The East Bengal Officials met with the Coach Alejandro Menendez yesterday and after a successful meeting, the officials have declared that coach Alejandro wants some reinforcements in certain areas, mostly Indian players, to strengthen the squad!

As per our sources, the management has started talks with 3-4 Indian players, not of any particular position, and willing to sign them for the remainder of the campaign!

There have been rumours about ATK forward Balwant Singh and ex. East Bengal winger Laldanmawia Ralte, who is currently playing for Hyderabad FC. Both of them are lacking game time in their respective ISL franchises and are linked to make a switch to Quess East Bengal FC for the season.

There are few other names too, which are undisclosed, have been in talks with the Red and Gold management!

Arch-rivals Mohun Bagan have revamped their squad in the January transfer window, it is now likely that the Red and Gold brigade too will get in some names to strengthen their squad in the transfer window which will be open from 1st January to 31st January!
