East Bengal FC recruitment team is already on a roll and their signing spree isn’t ending soon. They have been hyperactive in the transfer market and now as per reports they are all set to finalize Keralian born Mohamed Irshad for the upcoming season from Gokulam Kerala FC.

The 25 year old has been a regular starter for the Malabarians and has been a consistent performer for them. Irshad won the Durand Cup defeating Mohun Bagan in Kolkata in 2019. He has previously played for the DSK Shivajians in the I-League back in 2015/16.

Irshad can play as a midfielder as well as fullback. However he missed both matches against East Bengal FC due to suspensions. As per reports, the East Bengal FC officials are all set to bring the Keralian to Kolkata for the upcoming season and complete their 5th signing after confirming the likes of Balwant Singh, Gurtej Singh, Novin Gurung and Lalramchullova.
