Transfer Rumours: East Bengal FC linked with Kerala Blasters defender!

East Bengal FC team management are surely keeping themselves busy in the transfer market even after already annoucing the signings of 10 Indian players including the likes of Balwant Singh, Cavin Lobo, Bikash Jairu, Lalramchullova etc.
As per reports, the club has put forward an offer for former defender Raju Gaikwad, who has been playing for the ISL side Kerala Blasters in the 2019/20 season.
The 29 year old defender has made 12 appearances for the Yellow brigade with 11 starts in the 2019/20 ISL. He has mainly played as a centre-back in the absence of star defender Sandesh Jhingan.
Raju Gaikwad has previously played for the Red and Gold brigade after joining from the Tata Football Academy back in 2010, however he spent his first season on loan in the Indian Arrows setup. He played for East Bengal FC till 2015 before leaving for Mohun Bagan.
East Bengal FC recruitment team has already roped in centre-back Gurtej Singh from Hyderabad FC. They are looking to sign one more Indian centre back and they are hopeful to bring in Raju Gaikwad back to the Red and Gold brigade for the upcoming season.
