Transfer Rumours: East Bengal FC close to sign Bengaluru FC midfielder!

East Bengal FC recruitment team are not at all slowing down at any cost in their hopes to build a decent team for the upcoming season. In the last few weeks they have roped in quite a few players as the officials have been claiming of participating in the Indian Super League from the upcoming season.
As per our sources, East Bengal FC are very close and are likely to sign in the former AIFF Player of the year Eugenson Lyngdoh from Bengaluru FC for the upcoming season.
The 33 year old midfielder from Meghalaya has been one of the finest midfielders of for Bengaluru FC and Indian national team. However, in the past two seasons, the playmaker has been in-and-out of the team due to injury issues. He made just 5 appearances for Bengaluru FC in the 2019/20 ISL season, combining a total of just 77 minutes on the pitch, as he spent most of the time on the bench.
Eugenson Lyngdoh is known for his deep lying playmaking abilities and his expertise on set pieces, which makes him an asset for any team if he remains to overcome his injury issues.
Lyngdoh was also part of the ATK FC setup for two seasons before he joined Bengaluru FC back in 2019. Although he missed a lot of the matches due to his injury issues which let the team from Kolkata to let him go after two seasons.
East Bengal FC recruitment team are hopeful to pen down the former India international and hope he will be able to recover from his injury issues and be an asset for the team.
