Liberian forward Ansumana Kromah’s strike helped the Red and Gold brigade to get one point against Punjab FC after suffering back to back defeats and now coach Mario Rivera’s men will travel to Mumbai to face the bottom placed Indian Arrows on 17th February at the Cooperage Ground to finally look to get back to winning ways!
The trip won’t be easy for the Red and Gold brigade as these young boys of Indian Arrows already stunned them at the Kalyani Stadium in the first leg fixture as they won courtesy of a brilliant solitary strike from Vikram Pratap Singh.
The Arrows team are fast, technically sound and play a very deep block which causes the opponents to find it hard to penetrate their defence. Coached by former India International Sanmugam Venkatesh, the Indian Arrows boys are also fast on counters with likes of Vikram Pratap Singh, who already has 3 goals to his name in this I-League, to finish off attacks!
Coach Mario Rivera do have some injury concerns in the team. Juan Mera couldn’t start against Punjab FC but is expected to start on Monday. Didika Ralte has also been sidelined due to injury. Tondomba Naorem or Kamalpreet Singh is most likely to take his place alongside Kassim Aidara in the central midfield as new import Victor Perez is yet to arrive and join the team.
