Its end of the journey for 24 year old Spanish attacking midfielder Jaime Santos Colado with the Red and Gold brigade as the team management has decided to release him after his continuous poor performances throughout the I-League campaign.
The Spaniard was under the scanner since the beginning for his below-par performances and disciplinary issues. He had already served a game suspension in the I-League and still was in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, which also led to the team management into releasing the Spaniard midway in the season.
Jaime Colado has scored 3 goals in the I-League campaign this season. He has played a total of 37 competitive matches for Quess East Bengal FC since joining in 2018 and has scored 18 goals in his stint with the club.
His departure will make space for defender Johnny Acosta to arrive and take charge of the ever-so-leaky defence. The Costa Rican World Cup star has been playing in the top division of his country and has played 15 matches so far after leaving Quess East Bengal FC after last season.
