Quess Corp. confirms they are set to end partnership with East Bengal Club

It is confirmed now, the long awaited official declaration of Quess Corporation terminating their tie up with East Bengal Football Club has finally been announced by the CEO of Quess Corp. Mr. Subrata Nag on Monday evening.
Mr. Nag in an official statement said, “We are trying to sell our shares. Even if it not happens, we will have no financial liability of the club after 31st May 2020.”
He also said about mutual termination of contract with the club, “Yes, we have already intimated, and the club also accepted. So mutual exit will happen by May 2020, when the current season ends. So our current exposure with East Bengal will be up to that time. But we are, at the same time, we have been trying to exit, if possible, before that time line also, but the latest will be May 31.”
On Monday evening, the management removed their name from the official logo from the social media handles giving rise to more speculations about their exit. East Bengal FC Official Mr. Debabrata Sarkar said, “They have already asked us to build the team for next season, but I don’t know why they have already removed their name from the logo.”
