In preparation for the upcoming I-League, East Bengal FC played another friendly game against the North East United FC at Guwahati on 16th November. The game ended goalless as East Bengal squandered numerous chances to bury the game.

North East United fielded a mixed side with 3 foreigners: Maximilliano, Triadis and Gallago along with first XI names like Wayne Vaz, Pawan Kumar, Provat Lakra etc. while East Bengal fielded a proper team with Ralte under the bar, Ambekar, Crespi, Mehtab and Kamalpreet Singh comprising the back four, Kassim and Tondomba as the double pivot, Juan Mera-Colado-Pintu as the attacking trio with Marcos leading the line as a number 9.

Colado got the chance to put East Bengal infront in the first half but his shot struck the post as he beautifully controlled the ball and took a shot, from a great cross by Ambekar. Marcos missed the easiest chance of the game as he came 1:1 with the custodian but failed to finish the ball.

East Bengal got several chances in the second half but were too wasteful, which will be a thing of worry for Alejandro and co. Marcos was subbed off and Ronaldo was brought in but he could also hardly manage anything.

This was the second Pre-Season Friendly match East Bengal FC played and failed to win both the games (drew 1-1 against Bengaluru FC). They are supposed to play Jamshedpur FC on 21st November, as another friendly before the start of the I-League.
