Indian Football fans are set for another set back as the Hero Super Cup might not be organised at the end of 2019-20 season between the I-League and ISL teams as it had been for the past two seasons.

As per our sources, AIFF has decided not to organise the tournament this season after last season I-League clubs had decided to boycott the tournament due to their protests over “The roadmap” of Indian football.

It is also being heard that IFA is going to re-launch the IFA Shield as a senior tournament this season, in place of the Super Cup and are planning big for the tournament organisation.

The IFA Shield had become a U-19 Tournament since 2015 and it was won by East Bengal U-19 team last year defeating Mohun Bagan U-19 in the final.
