Quess East Bengal FC are all set to take on Indian Arrows in the next match of the Hero I-League campaign at Kalyani Stadium on Saturday. Coming in from a moral boosting victory against defending champions Chennai City FC, the Red and Gold brigade will look out to continue the momentum against the AIFF’s experimental squad, which is compromised of U19 boys with no foreigners!

Let us check out the lineup prediction for the game:

Goalkeeper:

Mirshad came into the squad against Chennai City FC and was very confident under the crossbar as he helped the team to keep their first cleansheet of the League campaign.

Mirshad would automatically be the first choice now after his stellar performance and especially when Lalthuammawia Ralte has been going from a lean patch lately.

Defence:

Marti Crespí will be back for selection after serving suspension for 4 bookings. However, against the likes of an all Indian attack, the Red and Gold management might once again go for the Mehtab Singh-Asheer Akhtar combination as the centre back pairing, providing options to play a foreigner more in attack!

Abhishek Ambekar will probably start again as the left back while Samad Ali Mallick might make a comeback into the first eleven after the injury layoff to form the back four as Abhash Thapa might not get his awaited start once again!

Midfield:

Kassim Aidara and Lalrindika Ralte are most likely to start once again with Jaime Santos Colado and Juan Mera as the two attacking personnel in the midfield.

Brandon got a start in the last game and if Marti Crespí start in defence, he might get another start in the eleven against the Indian Arrows to form the two wings along with Juan Mera.

Forward:

Marcos de la Espada has now scored in back to back matches and is currently placed jointly on second place in the race for the top scorer of the league. He is all certain to start in the eleven.

If the team management goes with an all Indian defence lineup then Liberian striker Ansumana Kromah might get his first start for the team and partner Espada on top, and lead a formidable attacking lineup to secure the winning momentum for the Red and Gold brigade.

Formation: 4-4-1-1
