Lineup Prediction: Chennai City FC vs Quess East Bengal FC!

Quess East Bengal FC have suffered three consecutive defeats in the Hero I-League campaign and to add to the dismay of the East Bengal fans, coach Alejandro Menendez has stepped down as the head coach and flew back to Spain.
The team will face current holders of the I-League trophy Chennai City FC on Saturday at the Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore without their gaffer on the dugout with new assistant coach Marçal Trulls Sevilliano and Bastob Roy taking charges.
Let us see how the team might line up for the game:
Lalthuammawia Ralte has been under constant criticism for not being able to keep a cleansheet in any of the 7 matches played so far and we do think it might be time for Mirshad to step up and get a start.
Mirshad has been warming the bench ever since the Durand Cup Semi Final where he was exceptional under the bar and is waiting for a chance in the first eleven. On Saturday, he will most likely get his first start of the I-League campaign.
Marti Crespí is suspended with 4 bookings to his name and with Borja Gomez being released, it comes down to the two available Indian centre-back pairing Mehtab Singh and Asheer Akhtar to command the defence.
The Red and Gold team management roped in Monotosh Chakladar yesterday but with just 2 training sessions it is highly unlikely that he will be thrown into the starting lineup to marshal the defence against a resurgent Chennai City FC side.
Samad Ali Mallick is still out due to injury and Kamalpreet Singh will perhaps start once again even after a horrific performance in the Kolkata Derby as the right back while Abhishek Ambekar might too get his place in the starting eleven ahead of Abhash Thapa.
Kassim Aidara will be under scrutiny as his poor form continues. Lalrindika Ralte might once again start ahead of Tondomba Naorem, who got a slight knock in the training on Wednesday as the central midfield pairing.
Juan Mera and Jaime Santos Colado are constant names on the attacking midfielder position while Pintu Mahata is likely to be dropped after he has failed to deliver as expectations so far, with a change in shape.
The signing of Ansumana Kromah will be a big boost to the attacking lineup for the Red and Gold brigade. Marcos de la Espada can now have a partner alongside him who can both score and feed him balls and make movements.
Espada scored a good goal in the Kolkata Derby but couldn’t save the day. He has scored 4 goals in 7 matches so far and the Red and Gold faithful will be banking on his shoulders to change their fortunes and get back to winning ways from Saturday.
