Finally some good news amidst all the controversies for the East Bengal fans as Edmund Lalrindika has finally rejoined the first team training sessions today ahead of the game against TRAU FC on Sunday.
Edmund joined the team on loan from Bengaluru FC for the season but got injured on his very first appearance in the Kolkata Derby after providing a beautiful assist for Marcos Espada. He was sidelined for more than 6 weeks and missed 5 matches for the team.
Edmund’s inclusion will surely provide more options to coach Mario Rivera who is surely looking for players who can bring in attacking threats as the team is lacking in goals upfront, with just 16 goals in 12 matches so far!
Along with Edmund, new Spanish import Victor Perez too joined the training sessions. He completed his signature at the IFA Office in the evening and will be traveling with the team to Imphal and might even feature in the game against TRAU FC.
