Quess East Bengal FC sits on top of the I-League table at the turn of the year with 8 points from 4 matches, as they are set to face Goan giants Churchill Brothers on Saturday at the Fatorda Stadium.

Coach Alejandro Menendez’s team will be traveling to Goa today with injury concerns for Samad Ali Mallick and Pintu Mahata being unavailable due to sickness. However, Lalrindika Ralte and Borja Gomez comes back to the squad after long term injury woes.

Churchill Brothers have always been a Bogey team for the Red and Gold brigade. They have won only 5 and lost 9 times in 20 visits to Goa in NFL/I-League history.

Coach Alejandro Menendez has emphasized that he wants to get all three points and maintain the winning streak. He will surely be happy with the availability of Jaime Colado who missed the last game against TRAU due to suspension.

Last year, Quess East Bengal defeated Churchill Brothers away at Goa 2-1 with goals from Jaime Santos Colado and Lalrindika Ralte.
