I-League: East Bengal Academy Graduate takes down Churchill Brothers

Former East Bengal Academy graduate Telem Suranjit Singh scored the winner late in the 90th minute as Indian Arrows cause an huge upset by defeating title contenders Churchill Brothers at their home by 2-1.
Churchill Brothers scored first through Trinidad and Tobago defender Abu Bakr as he headed in at the 38th minute although Arrows boys were having a better game.
The young Indian startlets fought hard in the second half and rallied from behind to first equalise in the 78th minutes as Givson Singh tapped in from a counter attack and then snatch the late winner as T. Suranjit Singh slotted home after the Churchill Brothers custodian James Khitan made a mess of a backpass.
Suranjit Singh left East Bengal this season to join Minerva Punjab. He was loaned to the Arrows setup for the season. Surely, he brought smiles to the fans of his former club.
