I-League 2019-20 officially launched at New Delhi

The bells have been rung, as the 2019-20 I-League is officially launched at New Delhi today by the All India Football Federation.

National football team coach Igor Stimac placed the coveted I-League trophy on the podium in presence of the captains and representatives of the 11 participating teams in this year’s I-League.

East Bengal FC captain Lalrindika Ralte representated the Red and Golds at the event and when he got his opportunity to speak, he said:

“We lost the league in the last 15 minutes of previous season. This is our centenary season. We will definitely try to win the I-League, as a gift for the fans.”

The I-League kicks-off on 30th November as Aizawl FC hosts Mohun Bagan at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Aizawl.
