The East Bengal FC team management are running against time certainly to fix their squad for the upcoming Indian Super League campaign and in the meanwhile the job to send the extra Indian players who are unlikely to get a place in the squad to other teams on loan has also begun with young winger Pintu Mahata reportedly inked a deal to move to the newly joined I-League team Sudeva FC for the rest of the season.

Pintu was brought in last season from Mohun Bagan but he couldn’t live to his expectations. He suffered an illness ahead of the I-League campaign and after returning he failed to break into the first eleven. The 23 year old winger made 23 appearances last season in all competitions and scored 3 goals.

The move to newly joined I-League team Sudeva FC will surely benifit Pintu into growing himself as a player and continue his development. He had a three years contract with East Bengal FC, which is currently at it’s second year.
