East Bengal FC team management has been active in the transfer market for the last two weeks, as they have roped in quite a few players for the upcoming season including the likes of Balwant Singh, Gurtej Singh, Lalramchullova etc.
Quess Corp. has announced they would activate force majeure and leave the tie-up with the club as early as 30th April. With just 4 days to go, as per reports, East Bengal officials and team management sat down with current coach Mario Rivera and physical trainer Carlos Nodar, and offered them to continue to be a part of the team building for the upcoming season.
The officials are yet to announce whether the team would play in the ISL or the I-League for the upcoming season however as things stand, the Spanish duo could be all set to continue as the head of the affairs for the Red and Gold brigade wherever the team plays.
There were also reports about East Bengal FC team management enquiring about the availability of Indian coaches like Derek Perreira and Clifford Miranda, the duo who took charges over FC Goa team after Spanish coach Sergio Lobera left just before the playoffs.
East Bengal have inquired about the availablity of coaches Derrick Pereira and Clifford Miranda with @FCGoaOfficial but I don't see either of them leaving the club. No reasons to leave. Will be surprised if either of them decide otherwise.#IndianFootball
