East Bengal FC back to winning ways before Kolkata Derby

East Bengal FC are back to winning ways after defeating Gokulam Kerala FC by 3-1 at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Red and Gold brigade took an early lead when Brandon curled in one at the far corner from the top of the penalty box at the 4th minute of the game. Jobby Justin increased the lead at the 14th minute after he slotted home a through ball to make it 2-0.

Enrique Esqueda going past Dileep Kumar of Gokulam Kerala FC

East Bengal FC star striker Enrique was taken off at the HT break with an injury to his ribs. Gokulam Kerala reduced the lead in the 57th minute when Cristian Sabah slotted home a long ball past Rakshit Dagar.
East Bengal FC was quick to answer as right-back Lalramchullova slotted home the winner in the 82nd minute from a measured ball from Lalrindika Ralte, who had minutes before escaped a Red Card.

East Bengal FC now has 3 win and 3 losses from 6 games and with 9 points, is equal with Mohun Bagan before the big Kolkata Derby on 16th Dec.
