Detailed look into East Bengal FC’s 5 new signings!

East Bengal FC recruitment team are unstoppable at the moment and they have announced the signing of five more new players for the upcoming season: right-back Rino Anto from Bengaluru FC, winger/forward CK Vineeth from Jamshedpur FC, left-back Pritam Singh from Kerala Blasters FC, Anil Chawan from ATK reserves and Vikas Saini from Mohammedan Sporting. Let’s see in details about the new signings:
The veteran right-back from Bengaluru FC is one of the known faces in Indian football circuit, being a part of four I-League winning campaigns, three federation cup triumphs and also a ISL title in 2018/19 making Rino Anto one of the decorated players of the last decade in Indian football.The 32 year old however has been irregular in the last two seasons making just 10 appearances, including just one appearance in the 2019/20 season due to injury issues. It was the wish of CK Vineeth to play with his closest friend that made the East Bengal FC officials to rope Rino Anto too for the upcoming season.
The Keralite winger-forward has been one of the popular names among Indian forwards for to his endeavours in Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters.The 31 year old played for the ISL side Jamshedpur FC in 2019/20 season where he made 10 appearances scoring once as a winger forward. He wished publicly to move on from Jamshedpur FC and East Bengal FC officials were alert to it. His wish of playing with his best friend Rino Anto too was accepted by the club officials and both of them have been roped in for the upcoming season.
Pritam Kumar Singh
The 27 year old left from Manipur was part of the Kerala Blasters FC squad for the last three seasons making just 6 appearances in the ISL. He didn’t play a single game in the 2019/20 season and spent most of the time in the bench.
The former SESA Academy product who was roped in by ATK FC in their reserve team has been roped in by East Bengal FC for the upcoming season.
Anil Chawan is a versatile defender was a part of the ATK FC team for the Durand Cup and I-League 2nd Division where he even led his team. The 21 year old is being considered as one of the talents with high potential.
The defender from Mohammedan Sporting who was part of the I-League 2nd Division squad has also been roped in by the team management.
Vikas Saini had previously played for the East Bengal FC team that went to play and win the Darjeeling Gold Cup in 2018.
