Detailed look into East Bengal FC’s 3 new signings!

East Bengal FC recruitment team are unstoppable at the moment and they have announced the signing of three more new players for the upcoming season – midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh from Bengaluru FC, Mohammed Rafique from Mumbai City FC and Milan Singh from NorthEast United FC.
Let’s see in details about the new signings:
The former East Bengal FC player has been always known for his hardwork and dedication on field. He left East Bengal FC in 2018 after spending four seasons with the club.
The 29 year old has 17 appearances for the ISL side in two seasons, which includes 6 appearances in the 2019/20 season where he came back from an injury to feature in all the matches in the later stages of the campaign. Rafique is a versatile player who can play as a central midfielder or even as a right-back as used by Mumbai City FC coach in the 2019/20 season.
The former Indian player of the year Eugeneson Lyngdoh is considered as one of the best playmakers of the country. Although in the last two seasons, Lyngdoh has spent mostly on the bench due to injury issues but if he’s fit, he would certainly be an asset for the team management.
The 33 year old has made just 5 appearances for Bengaluru FC in the 2019/20 season. Lyngdoh also expertise in set pieces and is known for a great range of passing from the midfield.
Milan Singh has been one of the regular players in the Indian Super League for the last few years making 43 appearances in last 3 seasons which includes 29 starts mostly as a defensive midfielder.
Milan Singh started his career in the East Bengal FC youth academy before playing for the Indian Arrows and moving ahead with Shillong Lajong. He had a breakthrough season with the Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League and got national team debut in 2016. Milan Singh has then played for Kerala Blasters and NorthEast United FC in the 2019/20 season where he made 13 appearances with 9 starts. It’s sort of a homecoming for the 27 year old defensive midfielder.
