As per reports, the decision has been finally taken by the East Bengal FC team management to release the Liberian striker Ansumana Kromah to make way for Costa Rican World Cup star Johnny Acosta as the team prepares to travel to Srinagar to face Real Kashmir FC on Monday.
The Liberian striker Ansumana Kromah just featured in 8 matches with just 4 starts to his name after joining in on January. The Calcutta Football League top scorer however had a tough time settling into the underperforming squad and scored just one goal against Punjab FC at Kalyani Stadium, which earned a point for the team.
His stay into the club for this short span of one and half months was not without controversies as the Liberian lashed out on the media about his disagreement with coach Mario Rivera and how he felt he was being mistreated by the team management. The controversy almost meant the end of the time for the Liberian striker however the team management waited until Johnny Acosta arrived to finally release Kromah.
