Great news for East Bengal fans as Antonio Dovale has finally put his signature on East Bengal papers today and will be available for selection against Indian Arrows away on 8th January.

Toni Dovale, as he is commonly known, has signed on loan from Nea Salamina FC of Cyprus. He had previously played in the La Liga with Celta Vigo. He was also an integral part of the last year ISL runner’s up and Super Cup winning Bengaluru FC team.

Coach Alejandro will be sighing with relief as Toni Dovale will bring in creative options in the midfield which the team was lacking. Toni had previously played under Alejandro’s coaching when he was part of the Celta Vigo B team. It was Alejandro who introduced Toni Dovale into professional football. East Bengal fans can be hopeful about Toni with all the experience he will bring into the team in surge for the coveted I-League title.
