Lineup Prediction: Quess East Bengal FC vs TRAU FC

Published by BADGEB on

Quess East Bengal FC is all set to play their 4th game of the Hero I-League 2019-20 campaign against newly promoted TRAU FC on Saturday at the Kalyani Stadium.

As already known to all, the man of the match of previous game Jaime Santos Colado, who scored a brace against NEROCA FC is suspended interimly and is unavailable for selection on Saturday.

Let, us predict how Coach Alejandro will line up his eleven against former East Bengal legend Douglas Silva’s side.

Goalkeeper:

Lalthuammawia Ralte has failed to keep a cleansheet in any of the 3 games that he started, however, he has shown good composure with the ball at his feet.

Alejandro Menendez will once again put his trust onto him as it seems, ahead of Mirshad who is waiting to have a game since his tragic heroics in the Durand Cup Semi Final.

Defence:

With Mehtab Singh sidelined due to Chicken pox and Borja still nursing his injury, Asheer Akhtar and Marti Crespí is the only centre back pairing left for Alejandro Menendez.

Samad and Abhishek will be the two fullbacks once again after a good performance against NEROCA FC.

Midfield:

With Jaime Santos Colado out due to suspension, Coach Alejandro might change his formation to a 4 man midfield with two Central Midfields and two wingers.

Tondomba Naorem is still not fit to start hence Kamalpreet Singh will once again start as it seems beside the ever present Kassim Aidara in the central midfield position.

The inform Juan Mera will take up the left flank while Pintu Mahata, who provided an assist in the previous game will take up the right wing.

Forward:

With Jaime Santos Colado out, we believe Alejandro Menendez will look in to put in Bidyashagar Singh as an attacking threat alongside Marcos Espada against the side who conceded 4 goals in their previous game.

Bidyashagar Singh came on as a substitute for 15 minutes against NEROCA FC. He is also no shy of scoring goals as has already scored 8 goals this season in the Durand Cup and Calcutta League.

Him along with Marcos, who has 2 goals in 3 games in the I-League can answer to East Bengal’s striking woes.
