East Bengal FC: Former captain appointed as Head of Youth development!
East Bengal FC appoints former captain and legend, Tarun Dey as the new Head of Youth development for the club, the position which was previously held by Bastab Roy. The club has been planning to start a reserve team which would act as a bridge between the U18s and the senior team and this youth set-up would be supervised by Tarun Dey himself.
Tarun Dey is a AFC A license holder and has been previously the head coach of the East Bengal FC U18 team in 2015 before Ranjan Chowdhury took over.
Tarun Dey has been a legendary player for East Bengal and Indian national football team during his playing days. He donned the Red and Gold jersey for 12 years from 1982-94 and captained the club in 1986.
