Delhi Dynamos 18 year old forward Seiminmang Manchong is set to join the Red and Gold brigade for trials ahead of the January transfer window.

Manchong have been a regular for the Delhi Dynamos Reserves and played 10 matches in the last year’s 2nd Div I League with 4 goals to his name with one against last year’s 2nd Div Champions Real Kashmir FC.

Manchong was promoted to the senior team this season but had been waiting for his chance to prove in the ISL. He just appeared once for the senior team when we has subbed in at the 87′ min in a 1-2 loss against ATK. He had been warming the bench ever since.

The teen forward wishes to impress Coach Alejandro Garcia, who too is in a lookout for forwards with Enrique Esqueda out with an injury and Bali Gagandeep failing to impress the Spaniard. Manchong will be the second person after Siddharth Singh who will be joining for trails at East Bengal.

As per sources, East Bengal are also in the lookout for a Goalkeeper, with rumours about Pune City FC custodian Vishal Kaith’s name surfacing.
